All party (All party)meeting called today

New Delhi. On July 19, a day before the monsoon session of Parliament, which is going to start on Thursday, the Central Government has called an all-party (All party) meeting, in which discussions will be held with all the parties to run the session smoothly. According to the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, on the eve of the monsoon session of Parliament, a meeting of leaders of all political parties of both houses has been called at 3 pm on Wednesday in the Parliament Library Building.

Separate meeting of NDA and opposition parties on Tuesday
There has been a tradition of calling an all-party meeting before the session of Parliament, in which various parties present their issues. Senior ministers of the government participate in this meeting. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also participated in many such meetings. On the other hand, the all-party meeting called by Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar on Tuesday (July 18) was postponed as leaders of several parties were not available. Opposition parties met in Bengaluru on Tuesday, while the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) also met in the national capital Delhi on Tuesday itself.

Monsoon session of Parliament will continue till August 11
The monsoon session of Parliament will begin on 20 July. The session will continue till August 11. During this, a total of 17 meetings of both the Houses of the Parliament are proposed. Monsoon session is expected to be stormy. On the one hand, while the ruling party will try to get important bills passed, on the other hand, the opposition will try to corner the government on other issues including Manipur violence, rail safety, inflation and demand for setting up of JPC on Adani case. According to a bulletin of the Lok Sabha Secretariat, 21 new bills have been included for introduction and passage in the tentative list of government business to be taken up during the Manasutra session of Parliament or the 12th session of the 17th Lok Sabha.

Delhi National Capital Territory Government Amendment Bill may be introduced
This also includes Delhi National Capital Territory Government Amendment Bill 2023. This bill will be introduced to replace the related ordinance. The Aam Aadmi Party is targeting the government on this issue. Government sources say that important bills are to be introduced in the session, in such a way all parties should cooperate in running the session, because the government is not holding back from discussing any subject under the rules and procedures. At the same time, in the recent meeting of the Congress Party’s Parliamentary Strategy Group, it was said to emphasize the demand for discussion on Manipur violence, rail security, alleged attack on federal structure, bringing GST under PMLA and inflation during the session. .
