Al-Qaeda (Al-Qaeda )suspects held

New Delhi. The Anti-Terrorism Squad of the Uttar Pradesh Police had recently arrested two suspected terrorists of a group linked to Al Qaeda (Al-Qaeda ) The police believe that these suspects were planning a major terrorist attack. He was in constant touch with his handlers in Pakistan and Kashmir. Police have received several such videos from the social media account of the arrested accused, 38-year-old Saddam Sheikh, which proves that he was trained for major attacks.

Most of the videos indicate that these terrorists were going to use the truck as a weapon in a possible attack. UP ATS arrested 23-year-old Rizwan Khan and Shaikh on July 2. Both of them are members of Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, an affiliate of Islamic terrorist organization Al Qaeda. UP ATS Additional Director General Naveen Arora said, “Both Rizwan and Saddam looked extremely radical. He was preparing himself psychologically for the attack. Rizwan was in touch with his handlers in Pakistan and Kashmir.

The ATS chief said, ‘Saddam was being trained for the Lone Wolf attack, in which he was planning to use his vehicle as a lethal weapon. The ATS chief said that Saddam was inspired by the Al-Qaeda module . He used to watch videos of terrorist attacks, in which trucks were involved. Although their goals are still not clear. Arora said that his social media accounts are being scanned to get maximum information and the questioning is still going on.

‘Waiting for your turn on the path of Jihad’
UP ATS sources said Rizwan was quite active on Facebook and Messenger, sharing posts related to ‘freedom of Kashmir’ and its merger with Pakistan. A note has also been found from him, in which it was written ‘waiting for our turn on the path of Jihad’. In another note, he is expressing his desire to take arms training.
