New Delhi: After a continuous year of farmers’ agitation, now the central government has announced the withdrawal of agricultural laws. The government has also approved the withdrawal of laws in the cabinet meeting. There is an atmosphere of happiness among farmers’ organizations and farmers after registering victory in their ongoing fight against agricultural laws. However, the farmers have also made it clear that the farmers’ movement will continue till all the demands are met. Meanwhile, thousands of farmers are moving towards Delhi with tractor trolleys, dancing and singing. The SKM has announced a march to Parliament on November 29.
It is worth noting that the winter session of Parliament is going to start from November 29. On the one hand, the opposition party is preparing a strategy to surround the government inside the parliament, while the farmers are reaching outside the parliament to directly ask questions to the central government and to put forth their demands. On the one hand, where there is an atmosphere of celebration among the farmers regarding the return of agricultural laws, they have traveled towards Delhi to fulfill their other demands.
According to one information, a large number of farmers are moving towards Delhi from Sirsa in Haryana. The farmers first reached the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium in Sirsa district and then left for Delhi from there. It is being told that farmers from Punjab and Sirsa have left for Delhi in cars and tractor-trolleys. The farmers said that the fight is not over yet. It is being said that after the withdrawal of agricultural laws, farmers are reaching Delhi to pressurize the government to fulfill their other demands.
Let us tell you that from tomorrow i.e. November 26, the farmers’ movement will be one year old. Now that the central government has announced the withdrawal of agricultural laws, the farmers have started preparing for the second part of the movement. Farmers have started mobilizing on the border of Delhi. Earlier on Wednesday, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait had also said that the agricultural movement will not end yet, our further strategy will be decided on November 27.
Tikait said that the Prime Minister has promised that farmers’ income will double from January 1, so our question is how will the farmers’ income be doubled. He said that the problems of farmers would be solved only when they would get good price for their crops. Meanwhile, National Kisan Mazdoor Sabha’s representative and farmer leader Abhimanyu Kohad has termed the Union Cabinet’s approval of the withdrawal of agricultural laws as a big day.
