New Delhi. There is a possibility of rain on Monday 30 January in many parts of the country including the national capital Delhi. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, in the last 24 hours, there was rain in parts of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Jammu and Kashmir, including the country’s capital Delhi and its surrounding areas. Meanwhile, a separate low pressure system has been formed over the southeastern Gulf of Bengal and the eastern equatorial Indian Ocean.
According to India Meteorological Department, a powerful western disturbance is widely growing on Afghanistan and surrounding region. Till January 30, the Arabian Sea is expected to remain high moisture in the entire northwest India. Light to moderate and strong rains and snowfall are being expected in the Western Himalayan region, while light to moderate and splash to moderate rains are estimated in the entire Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and West Uttar Pradesh. On Monday, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in the entire eastern Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. On the morning of 30 January, there is a possibility of very light rain or drizzle at some places in Delhi.
No change in temperature in next 24 hours
According to the Meteorological Department, there is no major change in the minimum temperature in different regions of North West India during the next 24 hours. At the same time, in the next 48 hours, the temperature will fall by three to five degrees Celsius. During the next 48 hours, the minimum temperature in different parts of Eastern India is expected to increase by two to three degrees Celsius and then two to four degrees Celsius.
On January 30, there is a possibility of extremely dense fog in the entire Punjab and Haryana as well as Chandigarh and Delhi. Meanwhile, there is a low pressure area on the southeastern Gulf of Bengal and the nearest Eastern Meditarian Indian Ocean.
Some parts of the national capital received light rain on Sunday and the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.4 degrees, which is three degrees below normal. According to IMD, the relative humidity was recorded at 95 per cent in Delhi at 8.30 am. The maximum temperature in Delhi was around 17 degrees Celsius.
