If CM Dhami did not fly the helicopter, then the tractor reached among the flood victims

Haldwani. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is seen active in the areas affected by excessive rains of the state. Reaching the victims for the second consecutive day, he took stock of the relief and rescue work. By taking a stormy tour, he is reaching every place where nature has wreaked havoc on the people. On Tuesday, when the Chief Minister’s helicopter could not take off from Haldwani, he left for the affected areas by road. Many times he had to sit in the tractor and inspect, due to which the officers were shocked

Assembly elections are to be held in Uttarakhand next year. In view of this, the CM is seen trying to prove himself among the public. The torrential rains that came on October 17 and 18 caused havoc in many districts of Uttarakhand. So far many people have lost their lives due to excessive rain. Rescue and relief work is being carried out on a war footing in the affected areas. Three army helicopters are also engaged in this mission. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself is monitoring the rescue and relief work by landing at Ground Zero. On Tuesday, he started his tour by visiting the affected places of Garhwal division, which is now continuing in Kumaon division.

CM has also been seen leading the rescue campaign himself. Due to this the entire ‘government system’ has to remain active in relief work. On Wednesday morning, he organized ‘Janata Darbar’ in Haldwani and listened to the problems of the local people. Most of the problems were solved ‘at the spot’. Strict instructions have been given to the officials to provide all possible help to the people affected by the disaster. Their problem should be solved and the necessary needs met. After the Janata Darbar, the Chief Minister left for the affected areas, but his helicopter could not take off in Haldwani. Taking a quick decision, Chief Minister Dhami traveled by road. The officers were shocked by this decision of the Chief Minister. He extensively toured Rudrapur, Kashipur, Haldwani and all the surrounding areas. Meeting people who had lost their homes and crops, gave them consolation. The Chief Minister has directed the officials that on the early assessment of the damage caused by the disaster, proper compensation should be given to the affected. Arrangements should be made for accommodation and food for those who have become homeless.
