Congress declared 46 candidates in Himachal Assembly elections

Shimla. Congress Party has released the first list of 46 candidates for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections. The names of the candidates were announced by the party high command on Tuesday late evening. It also includes the name of Vikramaditya Singh, son of former CM Virbhadra Singh, who will contest from Shimla Rural seat. After the list released by the Congress, the ruckus of Himachal Pradesh elections has intensified.

As soon as the dates for the Himachal Pradesh assembly elections were announced, the political temperature here has gone up. On Tuesday, the Congress released the first list for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections, in which candidates have been declared for 46 seats. Congress has allotted tickets in 10 assembly constituencies of Kangra. These names include Ajay Mahajan from Nurpur, Bhawani Singh Pathania from Fatehpur, Professor Chandra Kumar from Jawali, Surendra Singh Mankotia from Jaswan Paragpur, Sanjay Ratna from Jwalamukhi, Raghuveer Singh Bali from Nagrota, Cable Singh Pathania from Shahpur, Sudhir Sharma from Dharamsala, from Palampur. Ashish Butail has fielded Kishori Lal from Baijnath. Congress has given chance to all the old faces in the elections.

At present, the suspense remains on the remaining assembly constituencies. In these, the screw is still stuck on who will be the candidate in Dehra, Sulah, Jaisinghpur, Indora and Kangra assembly. In Manali assembly constituency too, the screw is stuck in the ticket. There is a political battle going on between Bhuvneshwar Gaur and Hari Chand Sharma for the Congress ticket from Manali assembly constituency.
