Both towers of Supertech should be demolished within two weeks:



New Delhi: Hearing was held in the Supreme Court in the case of demolition of illegal towers of Supertech Emerald Court located in Noida. In which the court has directed to demolish the illegal 40-storey towers within two weeks. For this, the CEO of Noida has been directed to convene a meeting of all concerned agencies within 72 hours.

According to the information, the Supreme Court has directed the CEO of Noida to convene a meeting of all the agencies related to this matter in 3 days, so that the process of demolition of both the illegal 40-storey towers of Supertech Emerald Court can be finalized. During the hearing, a bench of Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice Suryakant in the Supreme Court asked to start the demolition work of both the illegally constructed towers of real estate developer Supertech in Noida.

Let us tell you that on January 12, the Supreme Court had reprimanded Supertech for not complying with its orders to demolish both the 40-storey towers of Supertech Emerald Court located in Sector-93, Noida. The Supreme Court had warned Supertech that if he did not return the money, he would be sent to jail.

Last year the order was given to demolish the tower
Last year, on 31 August 2021, the Supreme Court, while giving a big decision in the Supertech Emerald case, ordered the demolition of the 40-storey twin tower in three months. The order said that illegal constructions should be dealt with strictly, and the rule of law should ensure compliance. Also, the court had directed that, from the time of booking, the entire amount to the home buyers should be returned along with 12 percent interest.
