This unnamed railway station, situated on the Bankura-Masgram railway line, 35 km from Bardhaman in West Bengal, was constructed in the year 2008, which was named as Rainagarh. But the people of Raina village did not like this name of the railway station, so they complained to the Railway Board to change the name of the station, then the name of Rainagarh was removed from the board of this station. Since then this railway station is running without a name.

When the train started operating from this station for the first time in 2011, the railways thought of naming it as Barkichampi. But after the protest of the people of Kamle village, this station also remained unnamed. Those people said that the land and laborers of their village were engaged to build this railway station, hence the name of this village should be Kamle station. Thus even after this controversy, this station has not got any name.
