1 lakh iPhone 13 person ordered

Leeds: England We’ve heard many stories about how people ordered an Apple iPhone and got weird stuff instead. In yet another incident of confusion by an online shopping site, a customer suffered a setback when he found two bars of chocolate wrapped in toilet paper instead of an iPhone 13. The case is from Leeds, England, where a customer named Daniel Carroll was eagerly waiting for his iPhone 13 Pro Max, as it was delayed by two weeks. The price of the phone was £1,045 i.e. Rs 1 lakh.

When he received the package to order, he was stunned to find two Cadbury’s White Oreo chocolate bars wrapped in toilet roll instead of a phone. Talking to Laddbible, Daniel said, ‘I ordered the phone on 2nd December through Apple website, but due to high stock, the first day for delivery was 17th December. Last Friday, the day it was supposed to be delivered, I got many surprising updates from DHL. Disappointed with the delay in the order, he himself reached the warehouse. They told that I went on the tracking and reached to receive the parcel from their depot, and was told there that it would be available for receiving on Saturday.

He said, ‘On Monday, I took a round of 24 miles to collect the parcel. When I got home I could tell the box had been tampered with because the tape was loose enough, but because I felt some weight, I opened the package. Inside was a roll of cheap toilet paper, which smelled bad, and there were twice as many Dairy Milk Oreos in it. He also shared his ordeal on Twitter. In a tweet, he wrote that he had received several strange updates from DHL after making a purchase on Apple’s website.

The tweet read, ‘Last Friday, the day the delivery was due, I received many surprising updates from DHL. They first said ‘in delivery’, then said ‘delay’, then wrote back on ‘delivery between 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm’. DHL replied that they had started an investigation into the incident and also asked the sender for a replacement for Carol. A DHL spokesperson said, “We are investigating the matter on priority and we are in contact with the sender to ensure Mr. Carroll gets a replacement.”
