New Delhi: Another shameful act of Pakistan has come to light. The pilot who made an emergency landing of the IndiGo flight ( plane) going to Srinagar had sought permission from Lahore Air Traffic Control to use Pakistan’s airspace to save the lives of the passengers but the request was rejected. Sources said that on Wednesday, when there was a sudden storm and hailstorm, the IndiGo pilot had sought permission for Pakistan’s airspace to avoid bad weather, which was refused by Lahore Air Traffic Control.
DGCA is investigating the matter
Sources said that the flight number 6E 2142 case is being investigated by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). There were about 227 people on board the plane, including the TMC MP. When hailstorm started suddenly amid bad weather, the pilot informed the air traffic control at Srinagar airport about the emergency. After this, the plane was made to make an emergency landing.
Sagarika Ghosh said – I felt life is over
Meanwhile, recalling the moment when the IndiGo flight going to Srinagar landed in an emergency due to bad weather, TMC leader Sagarika Ghosh said on Wednesday that “It was like coming close to death. I felt my life was over. People were screaming. Praying to God. Salute to the pilot who took us out of that situation. When we landed, we saw that the front part of the plane was damaged.

Let us tell you that the IndiGo flight was made to make an emergency landing at Srinagar airport on Wednesday. There were 227 people on board the plane. A five-member delegation of Trinamool was on board the flight to Srinagar. The delegation members in this plane included Derek O’Brien, Nadeemul Haque, Sagarika Ghosh, Manas Bhuiyan and Mamta Thakur. In a video going viral on social media, passengers can be seen praying while the plane is shaking. The front part (radome) of the plane was damaged during the hailstorm.
