Delhi: After forming the government in Delhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party has started fulfilling its election promises. Rekha Gupta (Rekha Gupta) has started the campaign to clean the Yamuna river as soon as she took oath as the Chief Minister. Now on Saturday, she is going to give two big gifts to the people of Delhi. Before Holi, the Delhi Cabinet is going to pass two big schemes on Saturday (March 8). The government led by Rekha Gupta will pass the Mahila Samridhi Yojana and the scheme of giving cylinders on Holi-Diwali on Saturday.
The announcement of Mahila Samridhi Yojana will be made after 12 noon (Saturday). Along with this, the announcement of giving one cylinder on Holi-Diwali will also be made tomorrow. Both these schemes will be passed in the Delhi Cabinet at 11 am on Saturday. After this, the implementation of both the schemes will be announced at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
BJP made these promises in the assembly elections
The Bharatiya Janata Party released its manifesto for the Delhi Assembly elections 2025 on January 17. BJP National President JP Nadda had promised to give Rs 2500 every month to the poor women of Delhi. A subsidy of Rs 500 on the cylinder and a free cylinder on Holi and Diwali was promised. Along with this, JP Nadda had told that all the public welfare schemes running in Delhi will continue even if the BJP government is formed. All those schemes will be strengthened in a more effective way and they will also be made free from corruption.
Results of Delhi elections
In Delhi with 70 assembly seats, the Bharatiya Janata Party won 48 seats and formed the government. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party was reduced to just 22 seats. After a long discussion, the BJP chose Rekha Gupta as the Chief Minister of Delhi. Rekha Gupta started the work of cleaning the Ganga as soon as she took oath as CM. Now she is busy fulfilling other promises.
