Thieves clean hands on goods worth lakhs in Messi’s house

New Delhi. Thieves cleared the house of Lionel Messi, one of the world’s richest footballers. As soon as Messi returned from a Champions League match for his club PSG, thieves allegedly broke into his hotel room and robbed him of jewelry and cash kept in his room. The reported incident happened in his five-star room where he lives with his wife and 3 children in Paris.

The jewelry was worth thousands of pounds and a gang of thieves broke into Macy’s room from the roof of the hotel. Messi is currently staying in a luxury hotel in Paris. According to a report, he is paying around $23,000 (about 17 lakhs) per night for the 4-room Royal Suite in the hotel.

According to the report, Messi joined PSG from Barcelona in August and has not yet visited his home in Paris. The value of his stolen goods is around Rs 40 lakh. It has been told that the thieves took away the value of jewelery worth about $ 40,000 (about Rs 29 lakh) and cash of 15 thousand dollars. Along with the hotel, the local police have also said that they are investigating the matter. In August, the security of 34-year-old Messi, his wife Antonella Roccuzzo and their three children was beefed up.
