Manchester: T20I series is being played between India and England women’s team these days. She has now become the highest wicket-taking spinner in women’s T20 International. She has left behind Pakistani spinner Nida Dar in this matter.

Earlier, the record of taking the most wickets among spinners in women’s T20 International was in the name of Nida Dar. She had taken 144 wickets in this format. But now Deepti Sharma has gone ahead of her, she has now become the highest wicket-taking spinner. She currently has 145 wickets to her name. At the same time, the record for taking the most wickets in women’s T20 is in the name of Australia’s Mega Shutt. She has taken 151 wickets in this format and Deepti Sharma needs 7 more wickets to overtake her.

Deepti Sharma is India’s most successful all-rounder

Talking about Deepti Sharma, she has represented India in 5 Tests, 106 ODIs and 127 T20Is so far. She has taken 20 wickets in Tests, 135 in ODIs and 144 in WT20I. She is one of India’s most successful all-rounders in the limited overs format. She also has a century to her name in women’s ODIs.

Talking about the fourth T20I played in Manchester, Team India won by 6 wickets and took an unassailable 3-1 lead in the 5-match T20I series. Batting first, England scored 126 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. In reply, Team India achieved the target of 127 runs in 17 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Radha Yadav was awarded the Player of the Match award for her brilliant performance.
