Heat wave alert in Jammu(Heat)

New Delhi: Crores of people of the country can get relief from the humid heat within the next 3-4 days. According to the Meteorological Department, the southwest monsoon has advanced from the North Arabian Sea towards the western, central, eastern parts and northwestern parts of the country. Due to this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Haryana and Punjab during the next 3-4 days.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains can be seen in interior southern Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Assam, Meghalaya, Odisha, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Konkan and Goa during the next 24 hours. Rain activities will be seen in these states between June 26 and June 29.

How will the weather be in Delhi

Delhi-NCR will remain cloudy today as well. However, there is very little hope of people getting relief from the sultry heat  (Heat) right now. The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy skies with the possibility of light rain or drizzle and strong winds blowing at a speed of 25 to 35 kilometers per hour. The maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to be around 40 degrees Celsius.

Severe heat in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, severe heat will be seen in parts of Bihar-Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab, parts of Madhya Pradesh and West Rajasthan for the next five days. Apart from this, heat wave is likely to blow in different parts of Jammu division till June 27. During the last 24 hours, Jaisalmer recorded 45.4 degrees Celsius, Kanpur 43.1 degrees Celsius, Amritsar 42.7 degrees Celsius, Ambala 41.3 degrees Celsius, Daltonganj (Jharkhand) 40.6 degrees Celsius and Sidhi in Madhya Pradesh 40.2 degrees Celsius. Similar weather is expected here today as well.
