lPG Cylinder: Oil marketing companies have given relief (Relief ) to the common people on the first day of May amid the Lok Sabha elections. Companies have reduced the prices of 19 kg commercial cylinders by Rs 19. After this cut, the price of commercial cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 1745.50. The new prices have come into effect across the country from today (May 1). Last month also, oil marketing companies had reduced the price of commercial cylinders and the price was reduced by Rs 30.50 on April 1. Oil marketing companies had earlier increased the price by Rs 25.5 in March and Rs 14 in February, whereas on January 1, the price was reduced marginally by Rs 1.5.
How much has the price of a commercial cylinder become?
After reduction of Rs 19 in the price of commercial cylinder, it has become Rs 1745.50 in Delhi. Earlier, the price of 19 kg cylinder in Delhi was Rs 1764.50. After the cut, the price of commercial cylinder in Kolkata has become Rs 1859. A 19 kg cylinder will be available for Rs 1698.50 in Mumbai and Rs 1911 in Chennai.
No change in the price of domestic YalPG cylinder
The price of 19 kg gas cylinder has been reduced, but there has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg gas cylinder used in homes. The price of domestic LPG cylinder is Rs 803 in the national capital Delhi. At the same time, the beneficiaries of Ujjwala are getting 14.2 kg cylinder for Rs 603.
Increase in air fuel prices
Airlines companies got a shock on the first day of May and the prices of air fuel increased. Oil Marketing Companies (OMC) have increased the price of aviation fuel by Rs 749.25/kg litre. The new rates have come into effect from today (1 May 2024). Earlier, there was a reduction of Rs 502.91/kg liter in April, whereas in the month of March, the price of aviation fuel had increased by Rs 624.37/kg liter.
