New Delhi. During the G-20 summit, (G-20 summit) from 8 to 10 September, traffic movement as well as the presence of eunuchs and beggars will be banned in many areas of Delhi. Kinnars, beggars and drug addicts will not be seen at all red light intersections in New Delhi district for the next few days. Beggars, drug addicts and eunuchs will not be seen especially in front of Connaught Place, KG Marg, Janpath, Bangla Sahib Gurudwara and CP’s Hanuman Mandir. Delhi Police has started removing beggars and drug addicts from these areas. Similarly, if beggars are seen on both sides of Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station and New Delhi Railway Station, especially towards Ajmeri Gate, they will be caught and released in shelter homes.

Let us tell you that till next Sunday, the Delhi Police will solve all kinds of apprehensions, including traffic, by holding daily press briefings. In these apprehensions, a solution has also been found regarding eunuchs, beggars and drug addicts. Now beggars, eunuchs, drug addicts and homeless people will not be seen in New Delhi area till the end of the G-20 conference. Recently, the Delhi government had also constituted a four-member committee to decide where to keep these people. At present, these people are being shifted to the outskirts of Geeta Colony, Rohini and Dwarka Sector 3.

Here, New Delhi Municipal Council has also started a campaign to rehabilitate more than 2000 beggars and homeless people living in Lutyens areas by identifying them. All the hotels in Delhi come under New Delhi area only. Along with this, the embassies of most countries are also here. In such a situation, representatives of G20 will also come to these areas. In view of this, Delhi Police will make arrangements for sleeping and food for the next few days for all the drug addicts and people sleeping on the tracks in New Delhi area.

Only after this decision of the High Court, begging in Delhi does not come under the category of crime. After this decision of Delhi High Court, Delhi Police had almost stopped taking strict action against beggars, but in view of the G-20 conference, now they are being shifted to other places.
