Nuh Violence:(Nuh)

Chandigarh / New Delhi. The situation in Haryana’s Nuh (Nuh)n  is still serious and tense, so the government has decided to keep internet services closed till August 11. However, people can move during the curfew on Wednesday from 9 am to 1 pm. The District Collector has issued orders in this regard. At the same time, the administration is apprehensive that some people may conspire to spread inflammatory posts and false rumors by misusing the internet, in such a situation the internet has been kept closed for the time being.

According to DC Nuh, the status of the order has been reviewed and the conditions are still serious and tense. In view of this, the government has kept internet services closed for the future as well. After an assessment of the present law and order situation, the officials observed that there is a clear possibility of disruption of public utilities, damage to public properties and facilities. Misuse of internet services cannot be ruled out. Disturbance of public law and order in District Nuh through social media/messaging.

Section 144 removed in Gurugram, internet service restored
The situation had worsened in Gurugram as well. From Nuh to Gurugram and Sohna, the situation had become very bad. To control the situation, many strict steps were taken by the police and the administration. Internet services were also stopped after the implementation of section 144. But now all these have been restored. The situation has become normal in Gurugram and normal life is returning on track.

2 home guards were killed in violent clashes
On 31 July 2023, two Home Guard soldiers were killed and 20 people were injured in a violent clash between groups in Haryana’s Nuh district. Since then the situation here has remained tense. Nuh district is one of the 22 districts of Haryana state in India. There are four sub-divisions in this district, Nuh, Firozpur Jhirka, Punhana and Taoru. Its area is 1,860 square kilometers. Its population was 10.9 lakhs on the basis of 2011 census. In the year 2016, the name of Mewat district was changed to Nuh. At present, a large number of police forces have been deployed here.
