Delhi: It is raining (rain!) in most of the states of the country. Landslides are happening in the hilly states. Mountain rivers are also in spate. Meanwhile, the national capital Delhi-NCR has been experiencing humid heat for the last two days. On Saturday, the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 27.9 degrees Celsius. Humid heat persisted during the day.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted generally cloudy weather and rain in Delhi-NCR on Sunday (July 6). During this time the maximum temperature is likely to be around 36 degrees Celsius. There will also be humid heat during the day.

Let us tell you that monsoon has knocked in Delhi-NCR. On Friday, heavy rains in areas like Patparganj and Ghazipur in East Delhi made the weather pleasant. According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi-NCR on Sunday. According to IMD, clouds and rain will continue in Delhi-NCR from 4 to 10 July.

The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) said that the Air Quality Index (AQI) was 82 at 10 am on Saturday, which falls in the ‘satisfactory’ category. According to CPCB, AQI between zero to 50 is considered ‘good’, between 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, between 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, between 201 and 300 ‘bad’, between 301 and 400 ‘very bad’ and AQI between 401 and 500 ‘severe’.
