Delhi: The Monsoon Session of Parliament     (Parliament )    is starting from 21st July and during this time, an impeachment motion against Justice Yashwant Verma will also be brought. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the House will run for a total of 21 days in the session going on till 21st August. During this time, Operation Sindoor and Pahalgam terror attack will also be discussed. The government will bring the impeachment motion against Justice Yashwant Verma in the Monsoon Session of the Lok Sabha. So far, more than 100 MPs have signed this motion. 40 MPs of Congress have signed this motion, which also includes Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi. According to sources, a quota was given to all the parties by the government and the number of MPs from which party can sign this motion in that quota was fixed. 40 MPs of Congress party were to sign this proposal and all the MPs have signed it. All the parties had to sign and hand it over to the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs.

To bring impeachment, signatures of 100 MPs are required in Lok Sabha and 50 MPs in Rajya Sabha. The Union Minister also informed that 100 MPs of Lok Sabha have signed the impeachment proposal.

40 leaders participated in the all-party meeting

Kiran Rijiju said, “Today, 40 people from 51 parties participated in the meeting. They expressed their views. We have requested that it is everyone’s responsibility to run the House properly. This is a matter of both the ruling and the opposition. Small parties should get more time. We will put this matter in the BAC meeting. Every topic will be discussed as per the rules.” Regarding PM Modi’s presence in the House, he said that the Prime Minister is always in the House. He is not there only during foreign tours or when there is a special occasion. It is not a good thing to drag the PM every time, he is the minister during the discussion of the department.

Pahalgam attack will be discussed as per rules

Regarding the discussion on Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor, the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs said, “We are ready to discuss all important topics. Be it Pahalgam attack or Operation Sindoor, but the discussion will be held as per rules. We have heard the suggestions of all the opposition parties.” However, Donald Trump has claimed many times to stop the conflict between India and Pakistan. On the question of discussion on this, he said that there is no question of discussing the statements of foreign leaders in the House.
