What issues will be discussed in India Alliance?(Alliance?) 

India Alliance: The constituent parties of the opposition alliance ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’    (Alliance?)  (INDIA) will have an online meeting. In this meeting, a common strategy to corner the government in the monsoon session of Parliament and the current political situation of the country will be discussed. A day before this meeting, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday distanced itself from the ‘India’ alliance, saying that it is no longer a part of the opposition alliance and questioned the role of the Congress party in leading it.

Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that during the monsoon session, there should be at least two days of discussion on the issue of the attackers of the Pahalgam terror attack remaining out of the dock till now, the revelations of some defense officials on ‘Operation Sindoor’, US President Donald Trump’s claims regarding mediation and the subject of China. There can be no compromise on this demand.

PM Modi should answer in the House, this will remain the demand of the opposition

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh also said in an interview to ‘PTI-‘ that the opposition will also demand that Prime Minister Narendra Modi come to the House and answer on these issues. He said that it is the responsibility of the government, not the opposition, to avoid deadlock in Parliament and run the proceedings smoothly.

Monsoon session starting from 21 July
The monsoon session of Parliament is starting from 21 July. A total of 21 meetings are proposed till 21 August. This meeting of opposition parties will be held online at 7 pm on Saturday. The meeting of the leaders of the ‘India’ alliance is being held after a long time.

Earlier this meeting was to be held at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s residence ’10 Rajaji Marg’, but due to the unavailability of some prominent leaders in Delhi, this meeting has been called through digital medium and in the coming days, a meeting can also be held in the presence of prominent opposition leaders together.

Discussion on SIR and Operation Sindoor

In this meeting, the opposition parties will discuss the Special Intensive Review (SIR) in Bihar, the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the sudden “stoppage” of ‘Operation Sindoor’, US President Donald Trump’s claims of mediation and some other topics.

There is also a possibility of bringing an impeachment motion
Sources related to the opposition say that there can also be a discussion on the possibility of bringing an impeachment motion against Justice Yashwant Verma by the ruling party, although the Congress has clarified that it is in support of the motion and its MPs will sign it. Justice Verma has been surrounded by controversies after the fire incident in his residential complex, due to the discovery of burnt bundles of notes there.
