On reports of killing of Pakistani army personnel by Baloch rebels, defense expert Praful Bakshi said, “Balochistan (BLA ) has taken up arms against the Pakistani army… This war will continue, it is not that we support these killings, but when such elements are wiped out, we do not know who is right and who is wrong, because Balochistan is fighting for survival and liberation. Pakistan has not only kept it under its occupation, but has also deprived it of food, development and all necessities. Now Pakistan is learning its lesson and hopefully the leaders will negotiate. The problem will no longer be a military problem, it will have a lot of diplomatic aspects. Let’s hope it does not escalate further..

On reports of killing of Pakistani army personnel by Baloch rebels, Major General GD Bakshi (Retired) said, “… Pakistani army is saying something and BLA (Balochistan Liberation Army) is saying something else. The truth is lost in the middle. By making terrorism a tool of state policy, Pakistan has shot itself in the foot. Till now they were exporting terror. The vultures of terror that they had reared for outsiders are now ruining Pakistan itself… Foreign countries cannot do anything about this. What can India do in this…”
PM Modi tried for peace but…
Major General GD Bakshi (Retd) on PM Narendra Modi’s comment on Pakistan during a podcast with Lex Friedman said, “…When PM Narendra Modi first took power in 2014, his first step was to invite all the leaders of the country including Nawaz Sharif to his swearing-in ceremony. This shows that we have made every possible effort for peace. But it is unfortunate that Pakistan’s deep state, its ISI military complex has stabbed us in the back every time.
Pakistan has adopted terrorism as a tool of state policy. Wherever there is an incident of terrorism in the world, its strings are directly linked to Pakistan… because of this it becomes impossible to restore peace with Pakistan. As long as they keep killing people and sponsoring terrorism, how can we talk about peace with them…”
