Woman’s husband made serious allegations against DM


Hardoi: The female head clerk posted in the Collectorate in Hardoi district of UP committed suicide by hanging herself with a dupatta. The husband, who reached the emergency ward of the district hospital, blamed the two officers of the district administration, accusing him of harassing her. At the same time, the police have claimed that no one has been convicted in the suicide note found during the search.

Madhu Shukla, a resident of Koyalbagh Colony, was posted in the LBC Head Clerk, DM Collectorate Wardrobe. She reached her residence on Thursday afternoon. After some time his body was found hanging on the noose there. On receiving the information, city Kotwal Deepak Shukla, ASP East Anil Kumar Singh, CO Harianwa AK Tripathi and collectorate personnel reached the spot. After investigation on the spot, the body was taken in possession and sent for post-mortem. According to the city Kotwal Deepak Shukla, the Panchnama of the dead body has been filled. No written information has been received from the family members. Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar told that the collectorate employee has committed suicide. A suicide note was found from him. No one has been held responsible for the suicide.

Husband Umesh Shukla told that investigation was going on against his wife Madhu Shukla. In this matter, he had taken recourse to the High Court. In this matter, the DM had called on Thursday. Threatened to sack him and send him to jail. Said why did the court go? Hurt by this, his wife came home. After some time he went to the municipality for some work. During this, the single wife committed suicide by hanging herself in the room. In the family, he has a daughter named Madhu Shukla.

District Magistrate Avinash Kumar said that the incident is very sad. The allegations made by the family members are baseless. Investigation is going on in serious allegations against Madhu Shukla. No decision has been taken in this yet. Notices have been sent to him twice. After this the final representation was sought so that a decision could be taken. He was given full opportunity to make his point. There has been no harassment of any kind.

Madhu Shukla was posted in the effective sections in the Collectorate. For the longest time he worked in the Arms Section. For many years, he used to ring in the Collectorate. In the year 2019-20, the then DM Pulkit Khare summoned all the letters to get the bore changed after several complaints about weapon bore change came to the fore. After a thorough investigation, without the permission of the DM, information was received about getting the bore changed in large numbers without the arms licenses. Only the original files of many arms licenses were found missing. During the investigation of this case, arms section was also snatched from Madhu Shukla and FIR was also registered against him. This matter also went to court. Officer-in-Charge Arms City Magistrate Sadanand Gupta told that Madhu Shukla was in LBC. He will soon be posted here. He had not even met her yet. However, according to the information he has, the investigation of the bore change case of arms against him was going on. Until the investigation is completed, nothing can be said about punishment or action.
