Vaibhav Suryavanshi: Currently, the player generating the most buzz in world cricket is 15-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi—who delivered a sensational batting performance during the IPL 2026 season and now commands a widespread fan following. Fans are eagerly awaiting his return to the field following the IPL season; he is set to play in the ODI tri-series involving ‘A’ teams, starting June 9 in Sri Lanka. The Indian squad, led by captain Tilak Varma, arrived in Sri Lanka on June 5 for this series. Subsequently, after being bothered by a fan, Vaibhav gestured with folded hands for them to stay back and asked for some personal space. In this ODI tri-series, the Indian team is set to play its opening match against the host team, Sri Lanka ‘A’. Afghanistan ‘A’ is the third team participating in the tournament.
