 Uttarakhand, State President Deepak Bali resigned

Dehradun. Aam Aadmi Party has suffered a major setback in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand President Deepak Bali has resigned from his post and party membership. While resigning, he said that I am feeling uncomfortable to go with the functioning of Aam Aadmi Party, that is why I am leaving the post. With this he said that please accept my resignation. Deepak Bali has sent his resignation to the party’s national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal along with Uttarakhand in-charge Dinesh Mohania.

Let us tell you that Deepak Bali is a real estate businessman in Uttarakhand and he joined the Aam Aadmi Party in the year 2020. He was given membership by the party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal himself. After this, Bali’s stature in the politics of Uttarakhand continued to grow and he became the state vice-president of the party a few months later. After this, he got the responsibility of the President of the Election Campaign Committee and then in the Uttarakhand Assembly elections 2022, he was fielded by the party from Kashipur. Although he did not get victory, but he showed his strength by getting about 16 thousand votes.

State President replaced Ajay Kothiyal
The Aam Aadmi Party, which failed to perform well in the Uttarakhand assembly elections, had appointed Bali as the state president in place of Ajay Kothiyal a few months back. At the same time, on this June 2, he had announced the state executive, cells and all the district heads. Deepak Bali had said that best wishes to all the newly appointed officers. Hope all of you will make every effort to strengthen the organization and take the ideology of the party to the people.

However, Bali has said to announce his next move in a few days. By the way, Ajay Kothiyal had resigned on 18 May 2022 and six days later took the price of BJP in the presence of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami. He was the state president of AAP for about 13 months and also the chief ministerial face in the elections. Kothiyal had joined AAP by taking VRS from the army and he had contested the assembly elections from Gangotri. He got only 5 thousand votes.
