Shubman Gill (Shubman Gill ) scored the first half-century

New Delhi. Shubman Gill,(Shubman Gill )  the young opener of the Indian cricket team, showed a bang in the last few months. Before the Test series against West Indies, he decided to leave the opening and then started flopping continuously in batting. Gill did not score runs not only in the Test series but also in the last two ODIs. Before the ICC ODI World Cup, his form seemed to be a cause of concern for the team but the comeback was strong.

In the ODI series being played between India and West Indies, everyone’s eyes were fixed on the young opener Shubman Gill. Just before the Test series, he decided not to open. Captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid agreed to send him in the batting order at number three after talking with him. Yashasvi Jaiswal got a chance to open in the Test match with Rohit Sharma.

Good return of Shubman Gill

After not being able to do anything special in both the Test matches against the West Indies, he was seen struggling to score runs in the first two ODIs as well. Gill was dismissed after scoring 6 runs in the first innings of the first match in the Test match. After this, he returned after scoring 10 and then 29 not out in the second match. Shubman returned after scoring 7 runs in the first ODI and just 34 runs in the second match. Now he brought relief to Team India by scoring Fifty in the third ODI. Scored 8 fours in 51 balls and completed his fifty runs. With the help of 11 fours in 92 balls, Gill was dismissed after scoring 85 runs.

Century partnership with Ishaan Kishan
Shubman Gill started the innings during the ODI series against the West Indies. He was dismissed early in the first two matches, while in the third he played a blistering partnership. For the first wicket, he shared a 143-run partnership with Ishaan Kishan. Due to this excellent partnership, the team was able to move towards a big score in the decisive match.
