Mumbai: In their first match of WPL 2026, Mumbai Indians faced a three-wicket defeat against RCB. (RCB ) Mumbai Indians batted first and scored 154 runs. RCB then easily chased down the target thanks to Nadine de Klerk. RCB’s middle-order batsmen had a very poor performance. At one point, the team had lost five wickets for just 65 runs, making their defeat seem certain, but Nadine had other plans. She batted powerfully and led her team to victory in the last over. After the match, Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur made a significant statement.
