CS Smt. Radha Raturi has instructed to work on the action plan of MSP (Minimum Support Price) for Jhangora like the local grain of the state Mandua. Along with this, encouraging the vision of Vocal for Local, Chief Secretary Smt. Raturi has instructed the Cooperative Department to take forward the proceedings of MoU regarding supply of food grains, vegetables, milk and meat with SSB and Army as well. She has directed the DMs of border districts to encourage the expansion of cultivation of millets on vacant cultivable land in the border areas. The CS has directed the District Magistrates to take the target of formation of 601 MPACS (New Multipurpose Primary Agriculture Cooperatives)/ Dairy/ Fisheries Societies in all the districts across the state on priority and complete it in a time bound manner. Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi was holding a meeting of the State Cooperative Development Committee at the Secretariat today to effectively organize the International Cooperative Year at the grassroots level in the state.
Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi has directed the District Magistrates to connect more and more people with its events to effectively celebrate the International Cooperative Year in the year 2025 across the state. She has given instructions to ensure the participation of local cooperative societies at the ground level in the planning, implementation and monitoring of conferences, exhibitions and cultural programs to be organized in the districts under the International Cooperative Year.
Secretary Dr. B V R C Purushottam, Additional Secretary Smt. Sonika, She. Manuj Goyal along with officials of Cooperative, Finance, Food and Supply Department and all District Magistrates were present in the meeting.
