The winner of the 8th edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup has been decided. The Australian team, which ruled in this tournament, once again won the trophy. Batting first after winning the toss, the Australian team scored 156 runs for 6 wickets on the basis of Beth Mooney’s half-century.
Chasing the target from Australia, the South African team recovered from the initial setbacks and handled the innings. Opener Laura Wolvaardt held one end and continued to score runs. This is a double hat-trick of Australia’s title. Earlier, the team had won the T20 World Cup trophy consecutively in 2010, 2012 and 2014. In 2016, West Indies defeated him and captured it.
