Gurbaaz’s storm hits Sharjah(Gurbaaz’s) 

New Delhi. The ground of Sharjah has become witness to another historic innings. This time this explosive inning has come from the bat of Rahmanullah Gurbaz.(Gurbaaz’s)  In the first T20 International match played against UAE, Gurbaz created havoc with the bat.

Batting in a stormy style, the wicketkeeper batsman also scored his first century in T-20 International. On the basis of Gurbaz’s explosive innings, Afghanistan tasted defeat to UAE by 72 runs.

UAE blown away by Gurbaz’s storm
Afghanistan, who came to bat first after losing the toss, did not have a good start. Hazratullah Zazai walked out after scoring just 13 runs. However, after this Gurbaz got good support from Ibrahim Zadran. While Zadran stood guard at one end, Gurbaz destroyed the UAE bowling attack from the other end. Gurbaz, playing in an explosive style, scored the first century of his T20 International career in 50 balls. Gurbaz hit 7 fours and seven sixes during his explosive innings.
Zadran also showed color with the bat
Gurbaz and Zadran together added 131 runs for the second wicket. Zadran also batted brilliantly and played a quick inning of 59 runs in 43 balls. Gurbaz scored 100 runs in 52 balls, out of which he scored 70 runs only from fours and sixes. Batting first, Afghanistan scored 203 runs on the score board losing only 3 wickets.
UAE’s batting order was a flop
The UAE team, which was chasing the huge target of 204 runs, was not visible in the match at any time. On behalf of the team, Vriti Arvind played an unbeaten inning of 70 runs, but he faced 64 balls to score these 70 runs. The UAE team could score only 131 runs on the score board after losing 4 wickets in 20 overs. Fazalhaq Farooqui took two wickets for Afghanistan. At the same time, one wicket came in the bag of Naveen Ul Haq.
