Congress MP told the truth after IT raid(Congress)

Income Tax: The Income Tax Department raid on the premises of Congress (Congress) MP Dheeraj Sahu has ended 3 days ago. In this raid, the department recovered the biggest cash seizure in the history till date i.e. Rs 351 crore. Dheeraj Sahu had been maintaining silence since the raid but on Friday he opened his mouth in this matter. Giving his first reaction to the media, he denied that the cash seized in the raid belonged to Congress or any political party. He claimed that this amount was not even his.
‘We did a lot of development work’

Dheeraj Sahu said, ‘First of all let me tell you my background. I have been in active politics for the last 30-35 years. But, for the first time such an incident has happened to me which has hurt my heart. I wanted that controversy should not arise over me. But, if there is a dispute today, I want to present my side.
My elder brother has been in politics and we have done a lot of development work. My father used to help the poor and we have opened many colleges and schools.
‘We have cash account’
The Congress MP said, ‘I have a liquor business, which is run by my family and relatives. You may also know that transactions in liquor business are done in cash only. My firm has been in business for more than 100 years. The money that has been seized belongs to him. This has nothing to do with the Congress party. We have its accounts and when asked by the Income Tax Department, our family members will give the accounts. Income tax will tell whether this is black money or not.
‘Recovered money from my firm’
Dheeraj Sahu said, he says, ‘…what is happening today makes me sad. I can accept that the money recovered belongs to my firm. The cash that has been recovered belongs to my liquor firms. This was earned from the sale of liquor.
‘Congress has nothing to do with it’
Denying links with Congress, the Congress MP said, ‘This money has nothing to do with Congress or any other political party as is being said. All this money is not mine. My family is quite big. It belongs to my family and other related firms. Now that the Income Tax has raided, I will give an account of everything.

‘I am not in the business line’
On BJP’s allegation that the cash is black money, he says, ‘I have already said that this money belongs to my family’s business companies. Let the Income Tax Department’s side come out whether it is ‘black money’ or ‘white money’. I am not in the business line. My family members will answer this.
‘Wait instead of hurrying’
The Congress MP said, ‘I don’t know how people are looking at this matter. But I can say with confidence that this money has nothing to do with Congress or any other political party. He said that the Income Tax Department has not yet declared that the money found in the raid is illegal. In such a situation, instead of hurrying, one should wait.
‘Public money will have to be returned’
PM Modi had recently attacked Congress over the raid on the premises of Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu. By writing a post on social media Whatever has been looted from the public, every penny will have to be returned, this is Modi’s guarantee.

Income Tax Department’s biggest raid
Let us tell you that apart from being a Congress MP, Dheeraj Sahu is also a big liquor businessman. The Income Tax Department had started raids on Bhubaneswar based company Buddhist Distillery Private Limited (BDPL). The heat of the raid had reached the joint family residence of Dheeraj Sahu in Ranchi, from which Rs 351 crore in cash was recovered. To count this cash, employees of many banks had to be employed and many machines were also used for this work.
