Patna: There has been a big change in the Bihar (Bihar ) unit of Bharatiya Janata Party. Samrat Chaudhary has been removed from the post of state president. In his place, Dilip Jaiswal has been given the responsibility of BJP state president. Dilip Jaiswal is currently the Revenue Land Reforms Minister. Dilip Jaiswal comes from the Vaishya community

After Nitish Kumar joined the NDA, the party made Samrat Chaudhary the Deputy CM. Since then, there were speculations that the responsibility of BJP state president could be given to someone else. Now after the Lok Sabha elections, the top leadership has announced the change. A letter has also been issued by the party in this regard.
Who is Dilip Jaiswal
Dilip Jaiswal is originally from Khagaria district. He is an MLC and is the Land and Revenue Minister in the current state government. He has become a member of the Legislative Council for the third time. He has also been the treasurer of Bihar Pradesh BJP for 20 consecutive years. He is also the in-charge of Sikkim BJP.
Meanwhile, BJP has also announced new state in-charges. Harish Dwivedi has been made in-charge of Assam, Atul Garg of Chandigarh, Arvind Menon of Lakshadweep, Radha Mohan Das Agarwal of Rajasthan, Arvind Menon of Tamil Nadu and Rajdeep Roy of Tripura.
