Bahi Kavya Ganga senior journalist and litterateur honored in Amrit Mahotsav program

Lucknow. Under the joint aegis of Maa Durga Literary Sanstha and Sahitya Sansthan, Amrit Kavya Utsav was organized in the 18th Book Fair of Moti Mahal Lan under 75 years of independence. Satire artist Dr. Sarvesh Asthana was present as the chief guest in the program. While the program was chaired by Dr. Hariom and senior children’s litterateur was Dr. Surendra Vikram.
Dr. Atmaprakash Mishra, Assistant Director, Doordarshan was the keynote speaker.
On this occasion, the speakers said that we should take care of our elders and ancestors who sacrificed the country for freedom.
The special guests were Kamlesh Maurya, Hariprakash Hari (former Special Secretary, Legislative Council). Convenor Alka Asthana said that this poetry festival is dedicated to the country, in which people who are proficient in various arts of the country were honored. Dr. Surendra Vikram presiding said that it is a matter of privilege to be a poet today. Kavita does not give bread but teaches how to eat bread. The Chief Guest Shri Asthana said that freedom is like a nectar urn. In the program, the famous poets and journalists of the country, Alok Raja, Media Ratna Award, Aziz Siddiqui Media Photography Shri Samman, Khalid Siddiqui Media Service Award, Jahanara, Mansa Pandey Shree Samman, Neelam Rakesh Sahitya Gaurav Ratna Samman, Chandradev Dixit Poetry was honored with Shri Samman.
The patrons of the institution Indrasan Singh Indu, Dr. Gopal Narayan, Anil Kumar Verma, Ramesh Chandra Srivastava, Dr. Subhash Chandra Gurudev, Mahesh Chandra Gupta Mahesh, Amar Kumar Srivastava, Satish Srivastava etc. were also present in the program.
