Akhilesh Yadav will make liquor from potatoes, promising vodka plant in Agra if SP government is formed

Agra: Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav said in Agra on Sunday that if the SP government is formed in Uttar Pradesh, he will set up potato processing units. He also promised to set up a vodka plant to make alcohol from potatoes.

Introducing the party candidate standing together on the stage, Akhilesh Yadav said, “He is a professor of agriculture. These who are professors of agriculture, make them MLAs. Whether we have to set up a potato processing unit, even if we have to set up a vodka plant, we will do the work of getting it installed.

Akhilesh asked the professor candidate, “Tell me, can vodka be made from potatoes? Can alcohol be made or not? Brother, ask them, they are educated, we have forgotten our studies.

Akhilesh Yadav said that Etmadpur is a part of potato belt, but the BJP government did nothing for potatoes. “We will make electricity free for irrigation. 300 units of free domestic electricity will also be given. If the SP government is formed, farmers will get sugarcane payment, free irrigation, interest-free loan will be arranged in 15 days.
