Sanjay Singh Gangwar, Minister of State for the Ministry of Sugarcane Development and Sugar Mills, Government of Uttar Pradesh, has been sentenced to three months each by the MP-MLA court during the hearing in two separate cases of violation of the code of conduct. Along with this, a financial penalty of Rs 2-2 thousand has also been imposed on him. However, just after the sentencing, Sanjay Gangwar was released on bail.
Let us tell you that Sanjay Singh Gangwar, Minister of State for Sugarcane Development in the Yogi 2.0 government, was the candidate of the Bahujan Samaj Party in the 2012 assembly elections. In the year 2012, two cases were registered against Minister of State Sanjay Singh Gangwar for violating the code of conduct. Vinay Kumar Saroj, the then senior sub-inspector of Sungarhi police station, had filed a case against Sanjay Singh Gangwar on January 4, 2012 for violating the code of conduct. In this case, a charge sheet was filed in the court convicting Sanjay Singh Gangwar, whose hearing was going on in the MLA-MP court. During the hearing in the MP-MLA court on Saturday, Judge Priyanka Rani convicted Sanjay Singh Gangwar and sentenced him to three months each in both the cases. Along with this, a financial penalty of 2-2 thousand rupees was also imposed.

However, on submission of bail applications in both the cases, the court released them on bail. Please tell that Sanjay Singh Gangwar has become MLA for the second time from Bharatiya Janata Party and got the post of minister for the first time.
