PM’s arrival in Kedarnath on November 5, will give a gift of 250 crores

Dehradun. On November 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate schemes worth 250 crores including the Samadhi Sthali of Adi Shankaracharya along with the ongoing reconstruction works in Kedarpuri. Along with this, the foundation stone of 150 crore schemes of the second phase will also be laid. Kedarnath tour is also being considered important for the upcoming assembly elections.

Baba Kedarnath is considered to be the worship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Modi did penance near Kedarnath. Since becoming the Prime Minister, he has been visiting Kedarnath continuously. The reconstruction of Kedarpuri, which was devastated in the June 2013 disaster, is included in the Prime Minister’s dream project. The Prime Minister is coming to Kedarnath on November 5, the day after Diwali.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that on November 5, the Prime Minister will inaugurate schemes worth two hundred and fifty crores under the ongoing reconstruction works in Kedarnath. Among them the samadhi of Adi Shankaracharya is the main one. A huge statue of Adi Shankaracharya is also being installed at the samadhi site. Apart from this, the works which are to be inaugurated include Ghats built on Mandakini and Saraswati rivers, three-tier security wall, residence of pilgrimage priests etc. He said that under the second phase of reconstruction works in Kedarnath, work on plans worth Rs 150 crore is to be started. These schemes will be a big gift for Uttarakhand.
