Taiwan has also started live-fire artillery drill

New Delhi. Taiwan has given a befitting reply to China’s recent military drill. On Tuesday, Taiwan has also started live-fire artillery drill. China had done a similar drill a few days ago. Taiwan has taken this step to take defensive measures against China’s attack and to respond to any misadventure by China. China started a military drill a day after US Senate Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan.

This drill of China was done just a few kilometers away from Taiwan. China also crossed the median line, the line dividing Taiwan and China. He even tested ballistic missiles towards Japan. According to the report, Taiwan has started this drill from today itself.

Meanwhile, on the Chinese military drill, US President Joe Biden said that there is no fear from China’s military drill but there is definitely a worry. He said, China is only increasing tension by conducting military exercises around Taiwan. He said, Washington is keeping a close eye on every move of China. Biden said, China has done what it had to do. Now I don’t think he will be able to do anything more than this.

The Chinese army carried out military drills around Taiwan from 4 to 7 August. Meanwhile, Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing Wen has sought support from all the countries of the world. However, Wen also made it clear that his government and army are fully prepared to respond to any actions of China.
