One youth killed, two teenage girls injured due to firing in Durga Puja

Ayodhya: During the Durga Puja festival in Ayodhya city on Wednesday, a youth was killed and two teenage girls were injured in firing in suspicious condition. The injured girls were admitted to the district hospital for treatment. When his condition became critical, he was referred to Lucknow Trauma Center

During this, a large number of police force and common citizens have gathered on the spot. Jagran was organized on the occasion of Durga Puja near Neel Godown located at Devkali Chowki of Nagar Kotwali. According to the information, firing took place in suspicious condition around 10.15 pm.

There was chaos due to sudden bullets. In this, two girls aged 14 years and 11 years, including 32-year-old Manjit Yadav son Kamlesh Yadav, were injured. All the injured were sent to the district hospital. Where the doctor declared Manjeet dead during treatment.

Treatment of the injured girls was started. He was referred to Lucknow Trauma Center when his condition became critical. After getting the information, Inspector Arun Pratap Singh, in-charge of Cantt police station, in-charge of Nagar Kotwali, along with heavy police personnel reached the district hospital.

According to the police, a youth has been arrested from the spot. He is being taken into custody and interrogated. SSP Shailesh Pandey has formed four teams to investigate the matter. The police also recovered a vehicle of the attackers. It is being told that the three attackers have fled leaving the vehicle.
