New Delhi. Many players of the Indian cricket team have reached London for the upcoming series. These include former captain Virat Kohli, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. However, captain Rohit Sharma has not been able to reach with the team yet. He will leave today i.e. on Friday. The Indian team had caught a flight to London on Thursday morning, which has reached its destination.

Other Indian players to visit London include off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, pacers Mohammed Shami and Mohammad Siraj, Shardul Thakur, Praneek Krishna, veteran batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, Hanuma Vihari and wicketkeeper KS Bharat. India’s head coach Rahul Dravid will join the Indian team in England after the conclusion of the T20I series against South Africa on Sunday.

Rohit Sharma could not leave with the team on Thursday due to personal reasons. According to a report in Inside Sport, he will board a flight to London on Friday. India will play a Test match at Edgbaston from July 1. This test is a rescheduled match which could not be held last year after many cases of corona virus were reported in Team India. After this, 3 ODIs and the same number of T20 matches will also be played.

Team India is all set for the England tour. This time there are no chartered flights, while all the players were tested for Kovid-19 before flying to England. After reaching London, he will go to Leicester where India will have a small camp before the practice match from June 24.
