Stampede in Vindhyavasini temple due to fire

Mirzapur. On the fifth day of Navratri, a major accident was averted in the temple premises of Maa Vindhyavasini. The fire broke out due to a short circuit in the Kali temple located here. Due to this the AC installed inside the temple was burnt to ashes. There was an air-condition in the sanctum sanctorum of the Kali temple existing in the form of a subtle triangle in the temple. There the fire had started due to short circuit. The incident is said to have happened around 3.45 pm.

There was chaos after the incident of fire. Due to the accident, there was smoke in the sanctum sanctorum of the Kali temple. People started running here and there. The fire department was called by the police. The fire department arrived with fire brigade and fireproof cylinders. Police personnel posted on the spot, Subhash Mishra put the fire under control by putting his life at risk. People praised the courage of the policeman.
Before Navratri, after checking all the power points located on the temple, issues NOC. From this incident, it appears that the Electricity Department has issued an arbitrary certificate, discharging the formality without investigation. Due to this a fire broke out in the temple of Maa Kali. Kali temple is situated on the small triangle in Vindhyachal Dham. The fire started very near to Maa Vindhyavasini temple. The fire caused a stampede among the devotees. This accident could be averted due to the active fire and police department.
