Akhilesh’s ‘Vijay Rath Yatra’, Mulayam Singh Yadav missing in poster

Lucknow: Akhilesh Yadav has geared up for the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh early next year. He is going to take out ‘Samajwadi Vijay Yatra’ in Uttar Pradesh from October 12. Posters related to this were also released from the official Twitter handle of Samajwadi Party on Tuesday. But there was a big drawback in this poster hugging Akhilesh’s photo. Uttar Pradesh BJP President Swatantra Dev Singh did not miss to take a dig at this.

Apart from the big picture of Akhilesh Yadav in the poster, there were pictures of many senior socialist leaders including Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, but not the photo of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav. Swatantra Dev Singh shared this poster of SP on Twitter and wrote, “Akhilesh Yadav ji, you have forgotten to put someone’s picture in this poster, maybe, try keeping your life journey in mind, you will be remembered.” ‘
Earlier, in a press conference held in Lucknow, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav announced to take out Samajwadi Vijay Yatra from October 12 to communicate with the public. He said that we have got an opportunity to take out Rath Yatra, because people are disappointed with the BJP. So this time Samajwadi Party will have a Vijay Yatra. SP chief spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary said that the SP chief is going to take out Samajwadi Vijay Yatra from October 12 to overthrow the inhuman government in the state.

According to Rajendra Chaudhary, the purpose of this yatra is to make people aware of the corrupt, autocratic and oppressive policies of the BJP government and to establish a real democracy. Akhilesh’s visits are for change in Uttar Pradesh. Akhilesh Yadav’s first Kranti Yatra as SP State President started on July 31, 2002 and after that he took out many journeys including Kranti Rath Yatra. Through which routes of the state the SP chief’s journey will pass, the party has not made it public yet.
