Imran Khan used to take from the party leader every month to run the household expenses.

ISLAMABAD: A former member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and retired judge Wajihuddin Ahmed recently claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s monthly household expenses were borne by former PTI leader Jehangir Tareen. Questioning Imran Khan’s honesty, he has said that many people of the party used to fund Imran Khan to run the house.

Wajihuddin had resigned from PTI in 2016. According to the information, Tareen had initially given an amount of 30 lakh rupees per month for the household expenses of Prime Minister Imran Khan, which was later increased to 50 lakh rupees per month. Wajihuddin Ahmed said, ‘It is absolutely wrong to think that Imran Khan is an honest man. He has never run his own house for years.

‘Imran and honest?’
Wajihuddin asked the man who does not even pay the money for his shoe lace, how can you call that man honest?
However, after the uproar over this statement, Jahangir Khan Tareen has dismissed all the allegations of Wajihuddin Ahmed. Tareen said he never paid “a single penny” to run Imran Khan’s luxurious house in Bani Gala, Islamabad.

Tareen wrote in one of her tweets, ‘Despite the current state of my relationship with Imran Khan, the truth must be told. I did whatever I could to help PTI in building a new Pakistan but never paid a single penny for Imran Khan’s household expenses. Let us tell you that Wajihuddin had resigned from PTI in 2016 due to lack of good relations with Imran Khan.
