Made it to the final for the fourth time
The RCB team has made it to the IPL final for the fourth time. Earlier, the team played the IPL finals of 2009, 2011 and 2016, but the team lost in all three. Now the RCB team has reached the final again after 9 years and this has raised everyone’s hopes that this team can win the title. In the current season, under the captaincy of Rajat Patidar, the team made it to the playoffs by finishing second in the points table.

Phil Salt hit a half-century

The batsmen did not show any hurry for the RCB team, which came out to chase the small target. Virat Kohli was dismissed after scoring 12 runs and Mayank Agarwal after scoring 19 runs. But Phil Salt stayed at the crease and scored a half-century to give the team victory. All the bowlers of Punjab proved to be a big flop and did not manage to make an impact. Salt played an innings of 56 runs in the match. Captain Patidar has taken the team to the final by hitting a six. He scored a total of 15 runs.

RCB bowlers wreaked havoc

The batsmen of Punjab Kings could not perform well in the match. Only three batsmen were able to reach double figures for the team. These included Marcus Stoinis (26 runs), Azmatullah Umarzai (18 runs) and Prabhsimran Singh (18 runs). The rest of the players were desperate to stay at the crease, let alone scoring runs. Due to the poor performance of the batsmen, the team could not play the full 20 overs and was reduced to just 101 runs. Suyash Sharma, Josh Hazlewood and Yash Dayal proved to be the biggest heroes for the RCB team. These bowlers did not give any chance to the Punjab Kings players to play strokes freely. Suyash and Hazlewood took three wickets each.
