Lucknow: There is severe cold in Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, dense fog is also seen in many districts in the morning and evening. In view of the bad weather, orders have been issued to close all private and government schools up to class 8 in UP. In this regard, orders have been issued to the education officers of all the distri ( holiday ) cts by Basic Education Director Pratap Singh Baghel. The order states that due to severe cold and dense fog, all schools up to class 8 in all the districts of the state will remain closed on Thursday and Friday.

Schools will remain closed for two days in Noida

According to the information, schools up to class 8 will remain closed for two days in all the schools of Gautam Budh Nagar district including Noida. In the order issued by the District Basic Education Officer, it has been said that due to bad weather and implementation of Grape-4, all schools from class one to eighth will remain closed on January 16 and January 17.

Schools will remain closed in Varanasi till January 18

At the same time, all schools from class 1 to 8 will remain closed in Varanasi, the city of Lord Shiva. In the order issued by the District Basic Education Officer, it has been said that schools of all boards including CBSE Board, ICSE and UP Board will remain closed till January 18. The education officer said that in continuation of the order of the District Magistrate, holiday is declared in schools till January 18, 2025 due to cold wave. But teachers and headmasters will continue to work by attending the school.

Schools will also remain closed till January 18 in Baghpat

On the other hand, all government and private schools in Baghpat district will also remain closed till January 18 due to severe cold. Keeping in mind the health of the students due to extreme cold, the District Magistrate has declared a holiday in all the council, aided, recognized and other board affiliated (from nursery to class 8) schools of the district till 18 January 2025. Earlier, schools were closed in the state till 14 January. Schools reopened only on 15 January.
