SP’s District Panchayat Shubham Singh also left the party and joined BJP. Gaurav Nand, who was the BSP candidate from Mainpuri assembly seat, also resigned from the party and held the saffron flag. At the same time, State General Secretary of All India Yadav Mahasabha Vineet Yadav also joined BJP. Everyone was given membership of BJP in the presence of State President Bhupendra Singh Choudhary at Lucknow office.

Former SP block chief and RCL Group director Manoj Yadav had resigned from the party last month. He was considered close to Akhilesh Yadav. He was in the news due to income tax raids before the last assembly elections. After his resignation, there were speculations about his joining BJP.
Meanwhile, former BSP District President Shubham Singh, who had joined SP in the last assembly elections, resigned from the party late on Tuesday evening. Shubham Singh is a District Panchayat member and in the past he had a dispute with former SP MLA Rajkumar Yadav.

Vineet Yadav, a resident of Transport Nagar of the city, is also the authority controller of a college, Shikohabad. The joining of four prominent faces together in BJP is being considered as a big blow for SP and BSP.
100 leaders were involved last week
Before the Lok Sabha elections, BJP is trying to increase its strength in Mainpuri seat, which is called the stronghold of SP. Under this also, work is being done on the strategy of burglary. Last week, 100 people including Aradhana Gupta, the woman district president of Congress and candidate for the post of Municipality President, Alok Gupta, who was the candidate for the post of Kurawali Nagar Panchayat President from BSP, were included in the BJP.
