Ayodhya: A complete glimpse of the statue of Ramlala seated in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple (temple) in Ayodhya has been revealed. After years of waiting, Ramlala is seated in the grand temple. There is a program of consecration of Lord Shri Ram and inauguration of the temple on 22 January.
This idol of Lord Shri Ram has been made by Mysore sculptor Arun Yogiraj. Arun is one of the most popular sculptors in the country. He is in his fifth generation making idols. Influenced by the works of his father and grandfather, Arun entered this field of sculpture. His ancestors were working in the field of sculpture since the time of the King of Mysore. After doing MBA, Arun worked in the corporate sector, but returned back to the field of sculpture.

These also include the 30 feet statue of Subhash Chandra Bose installed behind Amar Jawan Jyoti near India Gate. He has created everything from a 12 feet high statue of Adi Shankaracharya in Kedarnath to a 21 feet high Hanuman statue in Mysore.
On January 22, at 12:30 pm, Ramlala’s life will be consecrated in the grand Ram temple of Ayodhya. On this occasion, around 6000 invited saints and guests including UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will be present along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief host.
Rituals for the consecration of the Lord’s life have started in the Ram temple from January 16. On January 17, a new idol of Ramlala weighing 200 kg was installed in the sanctum sanctorum.
Ramlala’s life consecration program
The program of consecration of Ram Lalla on January 22 in the Ram temple of Ayodhya will continue for 7 days.
On January 16, the Yajaman Prasyachat Ceremony started on behalf of the Temple Trust, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra.
On January 17, a convoy reached Ayodhya with the idol of 5-year-old Ramlala. The idol of Ramlala was brought to the sanctum sanctorum.
Formal rituals will begin on January 18 with Ganesh Ambika Puja, Varun Puja, Matrika Puja, Brahmin Varan and Vastu Puja.
The sacred fire will be lit on 19 January. Navagraha will be established and Havan will be performed.
On January 20, the sanctum sanctorum of Ram Janmabhoomi temple will be washed with Saryu water, after which Vastu Shanti and ‘Annadhivas’ ritual will take place.
On January 21, the idol of Ramlala will be bathed with water from 125 pots.
After the morning puja on January 22, the idol of Ramlala will be consecrated in the afternoon in ‘Mrigashira Nakshatra’.
Chief Acharya of the Pran Pratistha ceremony, Arun Dixit, has said that the idol of Lord Ram was placed in the sanctum sanctorum amid Vedic chanting in the afternoon. He said that the ‘Pradhan Sankalp’ was done by Trust member Anil Mishra.
Dixit said that the spirit of the ‘Pradhan Sankalp’ is that Lord Ram’s ‘Prishtha’ is being done for the welfare of everyone, for the welfare of the nation, for the welfare of humanity and also for the people who have done this work.
