New Delhi. Indian cricket team’s experienced (collision… ) batsman Virat Kohli has created history. Kohli played an unbeaten inning of 101 runs against South Africa. This is Virat’s 49th century in One Day International cricket. During this period, he also equaled the record of 49 centuries of former Team India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Not only this, Virat has also completed 50 centuries in white ball cricket. He has become the only cricketer in the world to score half-centuries in limited overs cricket.

Virat Kohli scored unbeaten 101 runs with the help of 10 fours in 121 balls. He scored his 49th century in 119 balls. Including 49 centuries in ODIs and one century in T20, Kohli has scored 50 centuries in white ball cricket. With Kohli’s brilliant innings, India defeated South Africa by 243 runs at the Eden Gardens Stadium and registered its 8th consecutive win in the ICC World Cup 2023.
