Farrukhabad. One such act of Farrukhabad police has come to light in which a father had to stay in jail for three years for the murder of his own daughter. The police investigated the matter by ignoring the facts. When the alleged deceased daughter came to know about the closure of the elderly victim’s father in jail, then the deceased daughter reached in front of the Superintendent of Police in the papers. After this, questions have been raised on the police action. The court took cognizance of this matter and while releasing the father, registered a case against the main accused and the police and issued an order for action.
The matter is of Dev Saini village of Thana Merapur. In 2016, Soni, the daughter of 61-year-old Lalaram, who lived here, went missing. The troubled father, while registering a case with the police, told that his daughter has not returned home. The victim’s father kept circling the police for the first several days, but when the police did not take any action. After this, when the police could not disclose the matter, finally only the father of the missing daughter was sent to jail.
According to the information, the victim’s father had given a written complaint in 2016, expressing doubts on the village’s Omkar Ajab Singh, Bishandayal, Santosh and Santosh Devi, but the police forcibly made the father an accused and forcibly made the daughter an accused under Section 302. sent to jail under The investigation was done by the then Inspector Sunil Kumar and SI Mohammad Asif. Both the policemen, keeping law and order in view, told that Soni has been murdered and Lalaram is his killer. Chargesheet was also filed in the court.
Lalaram had to stay in jail for 3 years despite being innocent in the murder of his own daughter. After some time, when the daughter came to know that her father was in jail, she approached the police and confessed to leave the house of her own free will, proving herself alive. Along with this, Soni also requested the father to remove the false case. He proved before the Superintendent of Police that he was not dead. She left the house of her own free will. After the daughter came in front, the court released the victim’s father from jail.
It has been told that on 26 May 2020, Soni had declared himself alive by giving certificate and affidavit in front of the SP. SSI Mohammad Asif and Inspector Sunil Kumar, knowing that Soni was alive, prepared a coded form at the behest of the opposition and put pressure on the witnesses and filed a fake charge sheet of section 302 in the court. Now the court has heard the whole matter seriously and has accepted the petition of the victim Lalaram while issuing a decree to the daughter Soni to appear before the court.
All the village residents including the accused police personnel, Omkar Ajab Singh, Bishndayal, Santosh and Santosh Devi have been ordered to be informed by registering a case against the court. Making serious allegations against the police, the victim’s father said that the police brutally assaulted him for several days and forcibly accepted the crime of killing the daughter.
