who created a ruckus in Russia(Russia)

Moscow: In June this year, news of the death of Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin, who led the rebellion against Russian  (Russia) President Vladimir Putin, in a plane crash is coming to the fore. A total of 10 people including 3 crew members were on board this private aircraft. According to Russian emergency officials, Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of the Wagner Group, was also on the list of passengers. According to media reports, this aircraft belonged to Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the private military company Wagner Group.

Russia’s official news agency ‘Tas’ quoted emergency officials as saying that there were 3 pilots and 7 passengers on board the crashed private plane, all of whom died. Russia’s civil aviation regulator ‘Rosaviatsiya’ said that Yevgeny Prigozhin was included in the passenger list. The plane was going from Moscow to St. Petersburg and crashed in the Tver region, about 100 km from the capital Moscow.

Wagner Chief Prigozhin rebelled against Putin
According to flight data, the private plane took off from Moscow on Wednesday evening and lost contact with the ground control room minutes later. Prigozhin’s private army, the Wagner Group, which fought the war with the Russian army in Ukraine, briefly launched an armed rebellion against Russia’s political and military leadership in June. During this, Wagner’s army captured Rostov on Don, the southern city of Russia, which is also the military headquarters.

On June 24, Yevgeny Prigozhin announced in a video message that he was marching towards Moscow with 25,000 soldiers. He directly challenged Vladimir Putin and said that Russia is going to get a new President within 24 hours. This rebellion of the Wagner Group came to the fore due to differences with the Russian military commanders. However, in less than 24 hours, Yevgeny Prigozhin froze and the armed rebellion of the Wagner group was over. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko played an important role in ending the rebellion.

Putin had called Prigozhin’s act as unforgivable treason
Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a message after this development, described the actions of Yevgeny Prigozhin and the Wagner Group as unforgivable and treasonous. The Kremlin said Prigozhin would be deported to Belarus and his fighters would either retire, go with him or join the Russian army. After this Yevgeny Prigozhin traveled to Belarus with his boys. The death of Wagner chief in the plane crash is being viewed with suspicion.

Gray Zone, a Telegram channel linked to Wagner, reported that the Embraer plane was shot down by air defense forces in the Tver region, north of Moscow. The gray zone said locals heard two explosions before the crash and saw two plumes of smoke in the air. At the same time, according to the report of Russia’s official news agency Tass, a fire broke out as soon as the plane fell on the ground. So far only four bodies have been found.
