Troubled by SP leader, Divyang tried to immolate himself in front of DM office

Unnao. A disabled youth attempted self-immolation in the Unnao Collectorate premises today i.e. on Monday. But the security personnel present there somehow prevented him from committing self-immolation. This attempt of self-immolation caused a stir in the DM office. DM Unnao immediately talked to the SP of Unnao and assured all possible help to the Divyang. Divyang, who tried to immolate himself, has been identified as Awadhesh Kumar. He is a resident of Bhadevra village of Bihar police station area of ​​Unnao. Awadhesh alleges that Pappu Singh alias Ramchandra, former block chief of Bighapur and SP leader, is occupying his land.

After Awadhesh’s complaint, DM Unnao immediately spoke to SP Unnao. Apart from this, DM has directed to take immediate action by sending CEO Bighapur and SDM Bighapur to the spot. DM has sent Divyang Awadhesh Kumar to the house, giving assurance of taking action after conducting a fair investigation.

Divyang Awadhesh Kumar told that he has 3 Bishua land on the roadside outside the village. There is also a closet here. Former block chief and SP leader Pappu Singh alias Ramchandra of Bighapur block is occupying the land along with his comrades. Divyang Awadhesh had complained to the local police station in-charge as well as the district level officers about the possession of the land by giving a complaint letter, but nothing was done except the assurance of investigation. Awadhesh alleges that today the former block chief along with his associates reached his land and demolished the cell built there. Also took possession of the land.

Awadhesh, upset with the former chief’s grandfather, reached the DM office at around 12 o’clock. He had also brought kerosene with him in Peepia. Awadhesh was trying to commit suicide by pouring kerosene oil on himself outside the DM office when the security personnel present in the collectorate premises took him into custody. Then DM Unnao Ravindra Kumar, who was visiting the public, called him and understood the whole thing and immediately after talking to the SP Unnao, inquired about the action.

DM Ravindra Kumar has sent SDM Bighapur and CO to the spot and summoned the investigation report in 24 hours. He has assured strict action to the disabled after conducting a fair investigation. The DM said that after taking the complaint letter of the Divyang, he has immediately spoken to the SP Unnao. Action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in the investigation. The handicapped is completely safe.
