KKR (KKR ) remains in playoff race after defeating CSK

New Delhi. In the 61st match of IPL 2023, Rinku Singh’s magic once again worked. Along with captain Nitish Rana, Rinku Singh formed a 99-run partnership and gave Kolkata Knight Riders a six-wicket win against Chennai Super Kings. Both scored half-centuries in this match. With this, KKR (KKR )  has retained its hopes of reaching the playoffs by scoring two points. They have six wins after 13 matches.

While chasing the target, the start of Kolkata Knight Riders was very bad. Nitish Rana’s team had lost three wickets on just 33 runs. Deepak Chahar got all these three wickets. Jason Roy got out after scoring 12 runs. The second opening batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz went on to score a personal score of one run. Deepak Chahar made Venkatesh Iyer run for nine as his third victim. KKR’s fourth wicket fell in the form of Riku Singh in the 18th over when their victory was almost assured. Rinku scored 54 runs in 43 balls while Nitish Rana played an unbeaten inning of 57 runs in 44 balls. KKR scored the target of 145 runs with nine balls to spare.
Earlier, Sunil Narayan took two wickets for 15 runs in four overs. Chakraborty got two successes but spent 36 runs in four overs. Shardul Thakur, who took one wicket, was very economical. He gave 15 runs in three overs. Vaibhav Arora took one wicket for 30 runs in four overs.

Shivam Dubey scored an unbeaten 48 off 34 balls with the help of one four and three sixes to take Chennai to a competitive score. There was a time when Chennai lost five wickets for 72 runs in the 11th over but Dubey made a 53-ball 68-run partnership for the sixth wicket with Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja scored 24 runs in 20 balls.
